Straight stairlifts whether new, reconditioned or rental can be installed very quickly, often next day or within two to three days. In some more urgent cases, we have even installed same day!

A basic straight stairlift can be installed in under two hours. Slidetrack installations can take slightly longer but all stairlift installations, whether simple straight lifts or more complicated curved products, are all installed same day.

All our straight stairlift carriages and footplates have perimeter safety edges which detect obstructions and stop the lift from moving to avoid incidents. Additional safety micro-switches in seat arms and swivels, and many other general safety circuits and mechanisms assure user comfort and safety.

It is a common misconception that stairlifts are fixed to the wall in your home. A non-invasive process, stairlifts are fixed to the treads of your staircase. The whole process is clean and simple.

In line with EU Directives, our lifts are powered by batteries which are topped up by a full-time, low voltage charging system. If they are kept on charge during normal power supply, the batteries will always be fully charged.

We have an ingenious product called a slidetrack to manage upper and lower rail intrusion and we can also supply hinged rails where there is a doorway or downstairs corridor. The slidetrack uses a shorter, motorised stairlift rail that travels up and down the staircase to facilitate upper and lower access for the user. When not in use, you can simply fold away the arms, seat and footrest, and park the stairlift halfway up the stairs to keep doorways and hallways clear.

With hinged stairlift rails, the lower part of the rail folds away automatically to allow clear access downstairs.
