As the slimmest straight stairlift rail on the market, the Handicare Powered 1100 is ultra slim and compact and can be placed close to the wall, leaving space on the staircase for other stair users.

To save even more space, the stairlift seat, footrest and armrests can be folded when not in use. If bending down presents issues you can raise or lower your footrest with the flick of a switch. Where some footrests are linked to the seat base, that means the footrest must be down when transferring onto the stairlift. With Handicare's Powered 1100 you can raise or lower the footrest before or after you sit down.

For further ease of use, the seat swivel is fully automated: simply keep your hand on the easy-to-use drive toggle when you arrive upstairs, and the seat will rotate smoothly and quietly to bring you to a safe and protected transfer position. Release your seatbelt and you can transfer safely and comfortably onto the landing. Should you wish to open the stairs up for other stair users, simply press your remote control and the seat swivel returns to offer clear pedestrian access.

The robust 1100 is powered by Handicare's patented four-wheel drive technology, with four quiet and reliable motors. In the unfortunate and rare event one of the motors breaks down, you can still finish your ride up or down the stairs.

Fully certified by the international stairlift safety standard EN 81-40, the lift is designed for years and years of carefree daily use. Thanks to the continuous charge functionality, you can park the seat anywhere you like on the rail: the batteries are always charged and ready to go. The Powered 1100 is suitable for users up to maximum of 140kg.
