Luma Lift
Designed to blend seamlessly into your home, the Savaria Luma Lift is a compact, fully enclosed through-floor home lift with a premium finish including clear panoramic panels, concealed lighting, and hidden cables. As the rail system is entirely self-supporting, it can be positioned in most rooms without major structural work.
Fully enclosed, the cabin uses crystal-clear panels that keep the space feeling light and open. With a non-slip floor, integrated handrail, ventilation fan, and LCD status display all included as standard, it is suitable for one or two passengers up to 180kg.
A smooth, enclosed way to travel between two floors; when the lift descends, a flush-fitting cover automatically conceals the floor opening at the upper level, keeping everything neat between uses.
The Luma Lift is operated with simple push-to-run buttons and travels whisper-quietly at around 55dB, with soft start and stop technology for a smooth ride throughout. Two remote controls are included as standard, allowing the lift to be called to either floor without needing to be at it first. A sloped low-level threshold removes any step at the entrance, making it easy to get in and out.
Running on a battery that charges automatically when idle, there's nothing to manage day to day. If the power goes out, the lift will still complete around five trips before the backup is exhausted, so you're never left stranded between floors.
Safety features included as standard:
- Obstruction sensors stop the lift if anything is in the path of travel
- Door interlock prevents movement unless the door is properly closed
- Emergency stop button, easily accessible inside the cabin
- Overspeed protection prevents the lift from exceeding its designed travel speed
- One Touch Alert — a built-in two-way intercom to speak to someone outside the lift at the press of a single button
An additional door can be fitted for straight-through access, and a lower internal cab height option is available where ceiling clearance is limited — we'll confirm suitability during the survey. Fully compliant with EN 81-41, the Luma Lift is covered by our 2-year warranty.
In most homes, installation involves a floor cut-out and some basic structural preparation, typically completed within one to two days. We carry out a free survey beforehand to confirm suitability and plan everything in advance.
